David Kerber – PresidentDavid has served as President of the RVN Board for the last three years. David has lived in Roscoe Village for 11 years and has over 15 years of experience in real estate and investment banking. He is a Senior Director of NOI Strategies, a real estate consulting firm. He has been an active member of the RVN Board for the past five years, as well as several other organizations throughout the city of Chicago via the City Cares volunteer program. As a parent of young children, David is interested in the ongoing safety within our community. Cleanliness and safety of our streets, parks and schools are of particular interest. David received a degree in finance from Tulane University.
Barry Love – SecretaryBarry has lived in two homes in Roscoe Village over the past 17 years. After volunteering for Retro many times and serving on the RVN Garden Walk and Neighborhood Watch committees, Barry joined the RVN board a year ago. He has been serving as Treasurer of his 139-unit condo association for seven years, and has held positions on other volunteer boards since his college days. Barry has a BA in Economics & Business and Secondary Education, and is a Lead Systems Engineer at FactSet, a financial information and analytics company. Barry enjoys using data and technology to magnify the impact of small teams. He also is very interested in fostering a sense of community and expanding opportunities for volunteerism and civic engagement. As Secretary, Barry would like to focus on high levels of transparency and communication, project/process documentation, and volunteer recruitment and engagement.
Nina Buik – Director at LargeNina has lived in Roscoe Village for three years. She is Sr. Principal Business Development & Marketing Manager for Ingram Micro. Nina brings both extensive board experience as well as marketing expertise having served on multiple boards and school council in Atlanta.
Nina is most interested in keeping Roscoe Village business open and well-supported and also keeping the schools great.
Kabari Hendrick – Director at LargeKabari has lived in Roscoe Village for five years and is a Sr. Software Engineer. Kabari has been involved with several charities around the city and sits on the board of a charity which aids students in college planning.
Kabari is most interested in neighborhood planning and development. He is also interested in helping to grow RVN membership and involvement.
Jay Knobloch – Director at LargeJay and his family have lived in Roscoe Village for almost two years. Jay is an Attorney and Director of IP Licensing and Litigation at his firm. In addition to his legal experience, he also has significant experience serving on the board of Renew Chicago. Renew is committed to transforming the city of Chicago through investments in non-profit organizations.
His oldest daughter will begin at Audubon as a kindergartner next year. Jay is most interested in safety, small business growth and education in Roscoe Village.
